Kenneth Scheffler

Before teaming with Anna Christina to launch Family Empowerment Media, Ken supported dozens of non-profit organizations and social enterprises as a consultant and donor.

​

Previously at Dalberg Advisors, Ken managed more than 30 engagements focused on gender empowerment, rural development, and other development challenges.

Highlights of Ken’s work include helping the Global Fund to End Modern Slavery develop an East African anti-sex trafficking strategy; advising PSI on commercializing maternal and infant nutrition products in Ethiopia; and supporting a financial service provider in pioneering a new approach to segmenting female farmers.

At USAID, Ken headed monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning of a $137 million network of development labs and facilitated partnerships with innovative organizations around the world. He is a former Fellow in the Emerging Markets Development Advisers Program and consultant in Deloitte’s strategy and operations practice.

 

Ken holds an MBA and Master of International Affairs from Columbia University.
